The MeetingHouse. Its web-site provides surfers on the internet with a central place for an education about all of the prominent world religions. Browse the site it will be informative. It is more than a course of study in comparative religions. It takes strong positions in the world debate about the quality and nature of the religions.

What can you do? Many of the spiritual but not religious have a felt need to do a ‘little extra' above and beyond the establishment's United Way, etc. They have a desire to help humanity by alleviating: poverty, global warming, conserving our natural resources and other such noble causes. However, modern life is so stressful they can't find the desperate hour to sit down and write a check or donate by credit card. We want to promote an idea to our subscribers: that one donation check to the MeetingHouse could amplify our Donor-to-Donee stream thereby broadcasting your gift among a number of worthy causes. You could do it by a one-time per year donation or become a Donee on a regular monthly basis.

What makes the MeetingHouse different, beyond the educational function, is that we are a conduit that flows funds to a list of worthy donees. We feel that God wants all of us to do service to and for our fellow humans. It is not enough to "talk the talk." In addition, all of us must "walk-the walk." Faith and prayer are not enough.

As to Current Donors?

We have an very small number of subscriber-donors, because this is our fresh start. Our No. l sponsor is Rev. Dr. James R Cooper, at this time. This entry will be revised as we progress toward our goals and objectives. In accordance with regulations we will maintain an unpublished private list of our donors. It can be available upon proper request.

We hope you will choose to be a Donor.

See the End of this page for the "Contact Us-link "on the HomePage, if you want to make a donation to our cause(s). We will provide you with an appropriate receipt for a tax deduction from your tax return.

The MeetingHouse urges that you be flexible and flowing and go along with dynamic change in our early days. Your Gift Will Promote Understanding, Compassion and Forgiveness. Bend with the flow with ease; we assure you that all will be well.

AS TO OUR CURRENT DONEES

Our
HomePage makes clear that this internet church , The MeetingHouse for Aspiring Spirits -believes and puts into action the simple but profound idea that the best way to show your love for God is to do a service for your fellow humans.
